I sent my fiance important paperwork for his interview via United States Postal Service. I sent it Oct 14th and his interview is Oct. 30th. Does it normally take this long. Anyone have experience with this. I just hope he gets it before Oct.30th!!!

Yeah sometimes it does take this long. Usually takes at least 7 biz days. Don't worry, in the WORST case scenario, if he's missing anything they will give him a little paper and have him send the paperwork to them via DHL. As soon as they get it , they approve the visa. We had to do this with my husband's birth certificate, we had a problem with his mom's last name spelled wrong and we had it fixed.

We had the visa in 4 days and flew back to NY together so don't worry! He should have the papers but just wanted to give you some peace of mind in case you were worrying...

Yes i will let you know how everything was. I have faith in Cesar and know he will do great. I was surprised to get an interview date so fast. He was running around getting all the document, records and medical exam. So far so good. Hope everything runs smoothly with the both of you as well.

I sent documents once by ups and it was slow and expensive. The next time I sent documents she found a place I could fax them to her and I went to the UPS Store and faxed them. It was cheap and she had them in minutes. I know this will not work for anything that has to have your original signature but it works well for other documents. I filled out her forms for her and faxed them and all she needed to do was sign them. Hope this helps, good luck.
