The level of testosterone drops when men are depressed and has little with McCain or Obama per se on election night. The same study would probably show an overall drop in testosterone under Obama mirroring his limp approval ratings. See how low Obama supporters feel in 2012.

Well, I've heard similar studies for football games (men's testosterone levels drop when their team loses). I think that men are competitive and when they lose, they feel a drop in mood, which probably corresponds to testosterone levels. Doesn't have much to do with the political candidates. It just has to do with losing.
