Ahmedabad PCC for IR1

Hello friends...I am little confused over this thing....I am going with IR1 process.....my wife will be getting Passport PCC from Ahmedabad soon....now her passport does not have my name at all since it was issued before we got married....is that a requirement or she is fine....

I have read around here that in order to apply for a PCC in Gujarat women beneficiaries are practically being forced to change their name to their husband's last name. Which is way out of line. And might cause problems if they change the passport from Jane Doe to Jane Smith since papers have already submitted in the former's name. I don't know about the RPO specifically but this is what the local/district police is doing. I don't know how they are getting away with it. If they try and do it with your wife, suggest that she throw the Supreme Court directive in their face.
