I know the mentality of the Cambodian kids who grow up here in the US after their parents narrowly escaped the imprisonment of the Khmer Rouge. These kids do not understand the significance of rebuilding the country for their parents. Their parents have worked hard labored jobs at a measly minimum wage while their children can go to school. In the beginning of 1985 during the time when massive exodus of the Refugees from Cambodia were granted asylum to live in the US, the first generation children became gangsters.

They became gangsters because other races were using violence towards them. So, these children had no other way to protect the Cambodian dignity. They used their hatred against hatred.

I understand the race. I too was made fun for being the only Asian in school at that time. I was picked on. I also know that these kids who bullied me also had parents who hated the Cambodians for collecting welfare, and SSI checks. It angered me to the point where I never talk in school. I stood silent. I always held a fist whenever someone made fun of me. I wanted to use that fist to punch them. I had a chance once in school where I had the upper hand and could physically injured the kid. But, I held back. I said to myself, "I will show you. I will show you that you will bow to me when the time comes." That was when I was 8 years old.

It was not until I graduated with high honors that I was praised. The kids who picked on me, well, they were frowned upon. Heck, they didn't even goto college. I used that anger I held in school to succeed in life. It's my difference to the community to show that the Cambodians are not to be reckon with.

This is not Mexico. We have these things called statistics. Where they count the number of incidents of x criteria. It just to happens that Hispanics represent 12% of the population but make up an extraordinarily large number of those sentenced. Not to mention yesterdays posts that ~50% of gang bangers are Hispanic.

Damn staright you guys are nothing like me. I respect the law, do not harm others, invest in the community and pay more tax than 10,000 gang banging Hispanics combined. So don't anyone dare group me as being the same as some gang banging Hispanic.
