It the "too" that makes it questionable. That is the key word that makes his statement sounds like: hey, they'll let you be one too because your a latina.

If he had said you could be a scotus justice looking like that.it may be in line with the whole "you could be her twin" thing.

That's like saying someone who is wheelchairbound could be a theoretical physicist (looking like that).

Knowing the senior manager in question like I do, I believe his intent was to say Sotomayor is SCOTUS justice because of her ethnicity alone and that therefore, the cafeteria lady could be also. I personally believe he's a racist ####### based on years of having to deal with him at meetings. But that's neither here nor there.

If Sotomayer were white she would never have been considered.
