Most hispanics in the US have been here for more than three generations. If you bother to read up on US history you will learn that US took over a large portion of land that was previously Mexican/Spanish territory. You are a seriously close minded person!!!

Following suggests otherwise.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Justify? What are you talking about BY, seriously. All I have asked you to do is to examine your use of blanket statements and derogatory characterizations based on ethnicity. Is that so hard to do? It's not reasonable to say, for example, all Australians are alcoholics just because many Australians enjoy a beer. It's not reasonable and many would find that drawing such a negative conclusion was offensive. Who knew?

Who knew what? What you are doing is suggesting that everyone is equal. Using your example, is there no such thing as some countries having more of a problem with alcohol than others? Of course.

Using the following example, are the French the same as the Brits?

article-1196941-05900DF7000005DC-677_468x636.jpg

LOOK BY IT IS VERY SIMPLE. This chart does not say, imply or justify any suggestion that being being an alcoholic is a FUNCTION of being born in a particular country. It is THAT SIMPLE because you keep implying and baldly stating this and other similar #######.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Who are the Aborigines again?

Aborigine or aboriginal generally refers to Indigenous peoples in general. It is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as:

1: being the first or earliest known of its kind present in a region <aboriginal forests> <aboriginal rocks> 2 a: of or relating to aborigines often capitalized : of or relating to the indigenous peoples of Australia

So what about the indigenous peoples of Australia?

The limit of your analysis amounts to "Latinos and education don't exactly go hand in hand".

As I said - I have no reason to dispute the statistics, but every reason to dispute the way you interpret them.

Sorry, no other way to interpret these.

The above chart does not suggest anything to you? Hint: look at the last column.

So it does not suggest that the Brits may be more violent than those of other nations? What do you want them to do? spell it out in crayons for you.

You should have taken sociology at University BY - you'd get top marks with that analysis.

Task: With reference to a case study, examine the causes and impacts (both socio-economic and sociological) of low graduation rates in the developing world.

Answer: Latinos and education don't exactly go hand in hand. The End.

These stats are regarding America, not the world. Hence the focus of the thread.

I cannot wait to see you discredit these stats. Easiest is the socio-economic excuses or the "You just don't get stats" rhetoric. Obviously unlike Hispanics, people like Neil Bohr must have migrated here with a Pikey equivalent golden spoon up their azzes. Since moving here I have discovered that apparently only American minorities are poor.

What about them though? Are they are justification for what goes on in America by minorities? That is a red herring attempt to change the argument.

The point being - my opinion of your analysis of those statistics and what they mean is woefully deficient -

Fixed.

and as it stands you're only interested in validating your own prejudices.

As are you in defending anything that goes against your own bias and belief. For example, we have Cleo above who sees nothing wrong with the UK being 4 times more violent than France.

Right or wrong and as usual, I have posted stat after stat. Whereas you guys post your opinion of the stat and your opinion of me.

Case closed.

Since actual skin color has NOTHING to do with this...it's really about if you happen to be in the right place at the right time or wrong place at the wrong time. Which would be your socioeconomic environment. If you are born into a worse financial situation it takes a lot more to get up to a higher financial level than those born into good financial situations. Countries have the same issues. Where they are located also matters. Mexico is connected to the USA, Australia is not. Australia is financially better off than countries with a larger percentage of poor. So how can you actually compare yourself to someone coming from a possibly very poor family in a country with less opportunities? It doesn't matter what nationality they are in that case. It matters where they were born and what opportunities you had. A lot of people from various backgrounds have to work hard to get to where they are. It has nothing to do with skin which I assume you understand yet you continue to say things like "An Australian in the US is nothing like a Mexican in the US" hahaha what about rich Mexican Drs? Wouldn't you like to be compared to them? I'm sure.
