After 7 months we finally have NOA2

We have NOA2 after almost 7 months!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad we cannot use it anymore, because my fiance is getting deployed soon, so yeah USCIS, thanks but no thanks. This should be a happy moment, but it's not...

im so sorry to hear that it took so long is there anyway to expedite the interview so that you can be together?

Thank you so much, Sara!

We're not going to expedite the interview, we're actually going to postpone it, so we can get married during his R&R. I think it's the best solution we have at this time. At least we're approved now and we can move on!

I'll still get to see him before he deploys, he'll have to visit me instead :)

We're not going to expedite the interview, we're actually going to postpone it, so we can get married during his R&R. I think it's the best solution we have at this time. At least we're approved now and we can move on!

Thank you! I was expecting an RFE or something given that it took so long. When we called they just told us we were in background checks and there was nothing they could do at that point. We didn't even get a touch, but an email 2 months later saying that we were approved...

January 25, 2010 - Cory received her SSN

March 9, 2010 - Received appointment for biometrics - will be on March 18

March 18, 2010 - Biometrics done

March 19, 2010 - Touches on I-485 and I-765

March 25, 2010 - Advance Parole approved..received on April 1 in the mail

March 29, 2010 - I-485 notice date, received on April 4, 2010

May 3, 2010 - EAD approved

May 5, 2010 - Date interview....approved
