See, Canadians know their boots, and I'm a woman, I know what I want and no mans gonna tell me otherwise, mothers, daughters and best friends on the other hand ARE allowed to crab about if it looks funny, not husbands however....mind you maybe the cultural difference in submissive behavior in women are common in this nationality and other eastern cultures, (no offense intended)not as much here in the USA or Canada, a lot of us women dont put up with some mens b.s when it comes to telling us whats what. I'm just mad at this original poster cause I read another thread of his and he had written about having another lady on the side while waiting for this one, that ticked me off....

And every day I am reminded why I married a Ukrainian and not one of the 2 million or so Canadians outside my door. No offense intended. If you are mad at the priginal poster, send him a PM or something. Any woman anyone had before having an FSU woman would be "on the side" .

No drive by post folks, i've been here done that for a long time over here....I'm Canadian, waded through snow up to my waist and froze my feet wearing ####### boots, but no man, ever ever will control me or tell me what to wear or hold my money back because he doesnt "approve" of what I wear...and tell me I look like sh^% wearing it...he's gonna tell me I look beautiful wearing anything or nothing. And thats the short and tall of it in my book....

You still don;t understand. We don't tell them to wear those, they WANT to! That is why we married FSU women and not Canadians! Heck I've got Canadians coming out my ears where I live and its the ones with the sexy French accents, but they wear those boots for wading through snow and hauling frozen water...or whatever. Its the boots baby!

i've had the same boots Alla is wearing in the picture for 3 years. Dima hates them and tells me they look like hooker boots. so i retired them and only brought them out for my slutty santa costume last halloween. guess we all have our own boot preferences. p.s. he finds uggs atrocious as well.

Actually that is from a professional modeling photoshoot in Montreal (no offense, but no kidding either...Canadians need to bring women from the FSU to be models for their ads.) for a nightclub in Montreal, hence the somewhat "hooker" look (Canadians apparently have a thing for this, maybe because it is rare with all the boots for wading through waist, or was it chest, deep snow about) I can tell you she was stopping traffic at THAT street corner. She actually has some other boots that are taller and have the cuffs that go over her knees. Yowzaaaaaaaaaaa!

Fortunately since such things are cheaper here ("almost fee" Alla says) plus what she gets to keep from photoshoots there is now an abundance of properly heeled women's shoes and boots and even slippers in this house.

See, Ukrainians love their boots. And no one needs to say who is a woman or a man. And they know that they will not surrender their power over men by losing their femininity. Alla hits a curb, gets a torn tire and gets a police officer to drive her home, 40 miles each way!!!!! You or I would call AAA. FSU women know exactly who is in charge and exactly why. If you think that is submissive...well, you have been fooled.

Gary, I think you hit the nail on the head with your last comment. It's not that FSU women are submissive (not in my house that's for sure), it's just that they prefer to be women and enjoy being treated like women by men.

And finally about these UGGS, I thought they were made to be interior boots like slippers. Okay in the house, but don't take them in public.

No drive by post folks, i've been here done that for a long time over here....I'm Canadian, waded through snow up to my waist and froze my feet wearing ####### boots, but no man, ever ever will control me or tell me what to wear or hold my money back because he doesnt "approve" of what I wear...and tell me I look like sh^% wearing it...he's gonna tell me I look beautiful wearing anything or nothing. And thats the short and tall of it in my book....

Stop judging us Our meek, submissive wives LIKE to be controlled - DO YOU HEAR!!! All Eastern European women like it. They will tell you that their husband's word (including the direct command to live in an UGG-free zone) is law. Ask them!

You don't seriously believe that the guy is forbidding his wife shoes, or that she would seriously not buy or wear them, do you? Seriously?

You guys are doing it all wrong. In my house, it's not enough to just boss around my mail order bride...I like to carefully control the flow of information too. The internet filter blocks all sites with UGGs, so there is no such thing as far as anyone here knows. I gotta go...I need to put Krocs in there too just to be safe.

I own a pair of nursing shoes.

Crocs are my second most *puking sound* disgusting footwear choice.

Nursing shoes - a solid pair of tennis shoes, duh! Crocs aren't only ugly, they're unsanitary. I don't want someone's blood/puke/pee getting onto my feet, thank you very much.

Also, those pics are probably the funniest thing EVAH in the history of VJ.
