As I'm sure many of you have, I've been sitting here wringing my hands watching the news of what is happening in Lebanon and Israel. There isn't much we can do, but one thing we can do, especially with the easy access to computers, is write letters to our elected representatives.

I'm currently searching for an easy form letter that can be sent, but in the mean time, here is a petition I came across that will be sent to all the US representatives, as well as media outlets and various governments around the world.

Save the Lebanese Civilians

10/14/05 - married AbuS in the US lovehusband.gif

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Thank You Rahma, the Lebanese people are the ones always ignored. It is truly sad that such a beautiful country that I call home has not known peace for more then a few moments in it's existance. It is sad that the US can spend Billions of Dollars to bomb another country and charge it's citizens to get them out of harms way. Again the rich prevail and the poor suffer.

This whole thing is sad, but what is even more sad is watching the news where even the "unbiased" sations are biased. And again the muslims are the terrorists and the killers. Isreal the Innocent, the angel, the ones that never do anything wrong. The Spoiled Brat.
