When to submit relationship proof during interview

Quick question here. Do you submit the relationship proof at the pre-screening (over here we check in at 9am and hand over some documents, leave and come back for the actual interview at 1pm) or fumble for it during the Q&A interview session?

Reason I ask is, I assumed I would submit it during the interview during which I can explain to them certain things that make each proof relevant ie: what the numbers highlighted in his phone bill is, etc. If its given earlier, a cover letter stating each number, nickname and email address is needed for phone bills, chat logs, emails etc.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

It depends on the consulate but usually before the interview. You can explain anything you want as you turn in the documents but it will likely not be the same person that does the interview, which may be just a few seconds or no questions asked, like ours. A letter of explanation is a good idea if it is not clear. We did not for ours and they actually never even looked at the phone bills or emails in our case, but you never know. More is better

I agree with Gary. In Corina's case she only handed the required documents at the pre-screening. She kept the evidence of relationship for the interview. It pays to have the evidence in a well organized way. The CO asked Cory who prepared our evidence because it was easy to check and easy to find what they were looking for.

PEACE and good luck.
