Question about POE

Well here is what's going to happen we get the K-1 Visa. She is going to have her flight go to JFK and she will stay there for a week visiting a some family that she hasn't seen in a very long time. Her connecting flight will be a week later in Tampa, Florida. Do you guys think this is a bad idea or could cause some problems for her at her POE?

Thanks hope they don't ask her to much as she doesn't speak english really that well.

No problem at all. JFK usually has a number of people working there that speak foreign laguages and Polish is a pretty common one in NYC, my guess is with a little asking around she will find one speaking Polish. If she can say "Polish speaker please" to anyone in uniform, I think she will get help.

Don't worry there should be a translator about if needed.

Thanks for the information. She hasn't seen this aunt in years so she wants to stay in New York for a week with the connecting flight a week later to Florida. She I'm Polish too so we have no problem talking to each other. She does read some english but doesn't speak much or understand to much either. I feel like I can't help her when she enters. I can't fly up to New York either because of work. I have a limited amount of time off and when she gets here I'm going to have to use that to get all the paper work and everything taken care of with the marriage and AOS file.
