:help:

Hi everyone,

hi I just want to ask if what are the supporting douments to send together with the I-864 affidavit of support? And Where to send it? do we need to send it to check if my husband is able to support me when I get in US? we are In K3 Visa.

The USCIS made a mistake of our surname, He already called the csutomer service and the agent says that he need to make acorrection letter and send it together with affidavit of support after we receive the NOA2..

thanks in advance

you will bring it with you to your K3 interview. The instructions tell you what supporting docs you will need.

I included:

an employment letter stating my salary and how long i had been employed along with another from my past employer(because Im a little OCD and wanted as much as possible lol)

3 years of tax transcripts

the prior months worth of pay stubs

oh, and my w-2's and 1040 for 08 since it was right after filing and i didnt have transcripts for them yet.

I think thats it...but check the instructions, its been a while and i wouldnt rely on my memory only :P

good luck!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

If the USC spouse is trying to handle the I-864 at NVC, please remember that's for the I-130 and NOT the I-129F (K-3 ).

Which path does your USC Spouse wish to take?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hello everyone,

I am a bit lost on where to begin on me and my wife to be's future here in the USA's visa process. I believe it will be a K-3 Visa? I already met her last April and met her on line in September of 2008. I will go there again this coming April to be wed. Yehey! biggrin.gif I have been left with much thought. After I return what papers do I fill out? WHere do I send them? Who should I talk to? What are the requirements? What if I start work after I come home from my trip to be wed since I have been going to school? How would that effect my "above poverty level" requirements? So much to ponder with so much confusing fine print. Would anyone out there help me understand? I am eager to listen. Cheers! ssGoku08057@yahoo.com Thank you and Godbless!
