If I have 200 million dollars, I would never drive period. I would move to Boston. Everything is within walking distance. Buy a Presidential Suite Apartment. Wear dirty clothing to hide my rich appearance. Worst part of being rich in a big city is that people will rob any time. So, keep a low profile. Shop at the flea market or thrift store.

What would be the point of being rich if you don't buy nice stuff?

:lol: well, no - i don't mean here.

nor do I mean down I95 to DC.

but just about anywhere else. The drive to Montreal is nice. The drive to Niagara is nice.

I can recommend PCH in CA, or the drive to Denver from Utah.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind.

Another drive I loved was inside Death Valley.

I've take the California Zephyr several times from Bakersfield to Salt Lake. It's a great ride!

Food and accomodations are great. I also took the AMTRAK cross country from D.C. to

Bakersfield. If you have the time it's a fantastic way to travel.

If you are on a tight schedule or have a short time, then you have to fly... However, if you have the time and make it part of the vacation experience, then I love the train. I took it cross country from Miami to San Francisco once and LOVED it!!! Kinda cool to see into the yards and cities of the different places... I still take the train when I go from Miami to Orlando and at first all my friends said "oh, there is a train that goes through here" I had to laugh... It takes me 4.5 hours, I sit back and realx (it is like 2.5 hours to drive it)...
