Ugh, Mexican and Salvadorian dislike almost ruined my niece and nephews birthday this weekend. Thank god that cooler heads prevailed, but come on, it's a kids birthday party.

#######!!!! What happened?

Some of my brother in laws family came to the BBQ and wouldn't even come over to socialize with anyone. When my brother in law went to ask them to come over at least for the twins to blow out the candles on their cake and open presents, someone made a comment that didn't go over too well. Something to the effect of "Why? we have nothing in common with those people".

BASTARDS. OH NO THEY DIDN'T. #######... that is wrong. My oh my.... did ####### hit the fan?

Thankfully there was no alcohol at the BBQ. I think there were some pissed off people, but the feeling of "this is my niece and nephews birthday and i'm not going to ruin it for them" prevailed.

I have to add that there were some that were sooooooooooooo ghetto. We had 2 pinatas, one was pre-filled, and one my sister added the candy too. The first one, had Mexican candies in it and the smaller kids ran to pick up candy. When the 2nd one which my sister filled got broken, there were a few adults pretending to help their kids fill up their bags. Overheard 2 people talking where they commented "ohhhh this is the good candies, we can pass these out tonight"

I have to add that there were some that were sooooooooooooo ghetto. We had 2 pinatas, one was pre-filled, and one my sister added the candy too. The first one, had Mexican candies in it and the smaller kids ran to pick up candy. When the 2nd one which my sister filled got broken, there were a few adults pretending to help their kids fill up their bags. Overheard 2 people talking where they commented "ohhhh this is the good candies, we can pass these out tonight"

I am sorry those chopfvcks were a nuisance. Through my research ***uppity hat on*** with children of immigrants I have come to respect the enormous resilience they develop towards that kind of #######. They usually become pretty dedicated adults, unless of course the family ties are lacking - case in which the gang becomes a second family. But i don't see your niece going that way ***uppity hat off***.

Good morning Amby and Comrade Susita. Iam so tired today and in a funk....the boy is leaving tomorrow and the atmosphere around here is strained. Im going to mope today, not do anything but lay around and cry.

So sorry to hear about your rough treatment at the border. It's understandable though. In 1492 someone et the wrong people in and look at what happened. I wonder if you have a cold, another one is going around. Take care and get well soon Madam Comrade.

Hola, Comrade IR5. No, no cold....just dealing with the cold fact that my husband is leaving in less than 24 hours....we don't know when he will return. It's all fvked up.

Im feeling so blue and out of it, so please Comrades....understand why I wont be posting much in the next few days. Everyone do take care and remember.....I love you all.
