what up lgg? welcome

well i said I was near 40....still gotta few years left

i just feel that if we are going to have a child together I need to do some preparing.

It's so funny because you don't really entertain the idea that your age catches up with you

and that you may have a different pregnancy than you did say...oh....10 years ago.

So I am aware, not fully, that there are risks...I only hope that it may go as smooth as the other 3 pregnancies went.

That too, I don't know hubby genetics and what he brings to the plate, as he has never had a child before.

It is bittersweet. I know I have to get back into shape and quit smoking

The worst thought for me is waking up again repeatedly in the middle of the night and chasing around a toddler everywhere we go.

Nags...it sounds worse than it is but I gave up on housework a while back

SisterSandrila...that is very great that you want to have more kidz!

My wife and I would also like to have a kid together but we're both mid-40s...so no dice :crying: ...but we're in the process of importing immigrating AAm's daughter. She's 14, so that will be close enough for us. Besides her, we have three more kids that are in $college$

Besides, we're actually becoming more the "Get the HELLo off our lawn' kinda folks (like sisterlgg  )

Peace,

BishopM

my friend just told me if my tv wasn't so expensive it would put his fist through it because I'm watching fox news

I no likey Fox News. For international news, BBC is my fav. MSNBC & CNN are okay too. The day that kid was not flying around in a balloon I turned off all those channels though and put on BBC. It was the only one not covering that garbage.

Amby - As usual, my friends loved AAm's buffet. She did a great job and made it a nice day for us hammerheads watching the games ;) About 3 months ago I had 40 international people from my company over to our house for a Thai food dinner, very big gig. AAm was amazing...she really put on a cooking demo for all 40 people! My task...just buy 30 bottles of wine...her task, work hard with cooking! But our pad has an open kitchen and she had a continuous flow of people coming through snacking/talking/drinking and having fun. I think she'd do like that every night...she just loves it. Oh ya...I did do the cleanup ;)

SisSand - nah...we didn't make it to the temple this weekend. It was raining buckets when we got up on Sat morning so AAm didn't want to make the trip to DC. We had a lazy day at home instead, in our own temple :D I was very shocked though :o because it is very rare for my wife to 'slow down' like she did on Saturday...I guess it was the rain...made her restful...very perfect...

I'm the same as your wife. I love cooking, entertaining, etc. I would do it every day if I have people who appreciated it.
