Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

My husband's best friend married a woman who just turned 40 and they had talked about having a baby and they were both in agreement and now she just told him no. He's pretty devastated. I feel horrible for him but I see her POV too, there's a lot of risks especially if it's your first child.

I like jack boots.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I go outside to our balcony and burn my sage and do my daily meditations with my friend Elma (a tree) :)

:luv: Dearest *Len*, I LOVE that you have your daily meditation with your tree Elma! When I read this, I had a huge smile  because it immediately reminded me of the story about the first time that the Apostle Nathaniel met Christ.

So...Nathaniel was walking up to be introduced by Philip to Christ for the first time, and it went down something like diz: John 1: 47-48:

"Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, "Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him."

Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree (aka 'Elma' for Len)." :luv:

The story behind this is that Jesus (as the Christ) metaphysically saw Nathaniel's spirit as Nathaniel sat beneath a tree meditating and praying to God. God (One in essence with the Son) saw and heard Nathaniel's meditative prayers...and then responded to Nathaniel through His human incarnation in the physical body of Jesus when the two of them met for the first time.

Very heavy stuff! So...I believe in tree huggin'...great stuff!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Oh...and just to be ecumenical and all...Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha) also found enlightenment while meditating beneath a Bodi tree in Bohd Gaya, India...~ 500 years before the birth of Christ.

See? Trees like Elma are GREAT for the Spirit :innocent:(L)(L)(L)

After hearing of Elma...I can haz a happy :star: for the rest of the day...?see?, we only need a little encouragement in life... :)(F)

Paz a todos Commies!
