again I lovez teh Indian :thumbs:

and am quite a good cook of it myself ;)

I love cooking and am not that bad. Sadly, it is very time consuming and my schedule is fvcked as it is; so I don't cook that often :(

and cooking the kind of foods we usually cook in USA is nothing like the cooking involved with more ethnic cuisine

I don't have the time

ingredients when all is said and done can be costly too

I don't have an excuse as to why I don't cook as much as I used to

could have something to do with the fact that hubby is picky :unsure:

i mean cooking brings a sense of pride

meals lose their value I think if they not appreciated and/or consumed

oh yes... when I make something and it's gone in 20 minutes, I haz a happee.

Yesterday I took a new idea for simple pierogies, added sour cream and bacon as usual; plus shredded cheese mix and cream cheese (yea, not very healthy, but who cares) and the redhead loved them. :luv:

My mom is there right now visiting her husband

he got transfered now he is living there

i was curious about what is like out there

i live a little less than 3 hours from kc. go all the time. it is a nice place, but i would not want to live inside the city. i am more of a suburb girl. lots of stuff to do there, and great casino boats.

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

Well, I hate to cook and only do it when necessary. Since the boy has been gone, I'm having myself a wonderful break.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I'm back from lunch...huge crabcakes...now the B-ji is teh full...

...and we're driving into DC tonight because my wife wants to go to this African food restaurant...so I'll pig again...

.........and then tomorrow is Thanksgiving!

I'm making Luis arroz con mariscos tonight because his birthday is Friday and he asked me to make it today because on Friday he knows we'll have a ton of leftover turkey to eat up.
