we are having thanksgiving on friday because everyone has to work (except for me and my oldest sister from dallas) on thursday.

no worries K-ji..I am doing mine a day early, tomorrow night

it is kind of weird cuz I like being home and taking my time and all

I have to prep all tonight so everything just gets cooking all day tomorrow and/or reheated for when I get home from work.

I just wish I could take off work once in a while just to enjoy and make my life easier.....BUT...NO!!!!!!!!!! :angry:

my fav biere is Stella Artois :thumbs:

woooo hoooo, no overtime this week. means tomorrow really will be my last day of work for the week. love the extra money, but i think i love holiday pay better :dance:

the little cousins came over to help decorate the tree. they were soooooooo excited to unwrap all the ornaments we didn't even get any on the tree. now they're spread out all over the living room floor.

made chicken parmesan for lunch.

Im trying to paint my kitchen. It's not that easy. I started this project like a month ago and never finished it.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I used to love when it was time to give my kids their boxes of ornaments they had collected over the years

like I said it has been a mix match for years over here, i look forward to getting a pretty theme going on

I am! Im taking a ciggy break. Now I'm having thoughts of painting the spare room ceiling.

My parent's Christmas package arrived today. Now I'm homesick. :crying:

...Found a German Deli here that carries all kind of Bier, they even have Hefeweizen!

This is a great find HermanaCheeta...now we will always know where to find you!

Hmmmm...the Bishop iza gettin' thoisty! Ugh...only 2:35 :crying:

off to search the house for my small ice cream scoop so I can make perfect truffles. also making pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie.

Use your hands, small icecream scoops are for the gheyz.. :whistle:

Amby sounds alot like my wife...always zoom-zoomin', especially in the kitchen :devil:

Sandrila - I always say I'm not going to do anything but I think of something new to do like 5 mins later.

Right now I'm trying to think of every single thing I normally do the week before Christmas because I will be useless in 3 weeks because I'm having surgery again on Dec 17. So far I have 3 types of cookie dough in the freezer.

Cheesecakes in the oven, cranberry orange compote on the stove, and truffle filling is chilling in the fridge.

Any of you like Star Trek? I got the movie from Netflix the other day and I'm not sure if I will watch it or not. Will I like it if I'm not a fan or should I just send it back?
