I gets a sad when I shop and see other people's carts loaded up to the brim. Who are these people that can afford to do that? I like to look at what they buy, especially sweets.

LOL I know right? We always fill our cart up... at Costco. I usually go once every 2 or 3 months and stock up on 25lb bags of rice, toilet paper, big bottles of apple juice, paper towels, chicken nuggets etc. That stuff comes in huge packages so it's easy to fill your cart up.

Otherwise, never. The kids are lucky if they get Oreos or something like that. We don't usually keep that much junk in the house. The only thing we like ALWAYS have is orange sherbet, and that's only because I keep craving it all the time.

Well, I gotta go, got a lunch date with the hubby @ the pizzeria :) See you guys in a bit.

I love places like BJs and Costco. Buying in bulk doesn't always suit a family that doesn't have kids.

It just ends up being too much but if you have kiddies or a party or something it is a really good bargain and they have everything you can imagine.

I still have yet to ever fill my cart to the brim at the market :(

I always say man, I want one time, just ONE TIME, that I can go in and spend as much as I want on food for one week, FOR ME! So so so rare I go into the market and get even one thing I want for me. I just eat whatever I get for the rest of the fam to make the money stretch.

I go to the store and the lady says wow, how much you spent :o (which isn't all that much) and that was just.....snacks!

LOL

Nagi...you gotta sweet tooth? :wow:

something to make up for the meat you aren't getting :P

The Bishop is having an ascetic evening...wine/bread (+blessing)...and alone in the hotel room...kinda nice (but still need to tend to my flock of C4C peeps)
