but i also tend to hide it from other people. only my best friend, mom, and one of my sisters actually know what went on, and of course my husband. even then, i don't think any of them really knew the sleepless nights, the no eating for days. i never wanted them to worry. and it is hard to put into words what we go through with immigration. everyone tells me, i shouldn't get depressed. i shouldn't let things bother me. i want to say what do you know about it. have you ever been through it? but i just nod and say thank you.

I remember very well when you went through your denial. I was amazed at how together you were, but we both know that it is a facade since inside we are falling apart.

But here you are on the verge of another interview. I am so excited for you. I am sure you are a bundle of nerves however, I know we prepared for my husbands second interview with all guns loaded and ready. No...not literally..not wise for a Muslim at an American consulate. But it turned out that they didn't ask any more questions at all, just wanted updated forms and here is the visa. I hope yours goes as smoothly.

I was so glad to help in any way I could. I still have the battle wounds from when we had our denial and I had no idea what happened and what to do next. No one should EVER have to feel that way.

what do my kids like?? home cooked meals...they are meat and potato eaters for sure

I love to cook the only problem is I like to cook ethnic...only my youngest is adventurous with her eating

the others are very traditional AMERICAN fare with the occasional Chinese take out.

My problem is lately I have been too busy (and a little lazy) to cook

I go thru spurts

I find if I don't prepare the meal for the kids the night before...I won't cook b/c by the time I get done work

they are crying about how hungry they are...that is why it has to be quick and easy.

I can't believe I am leaving in 15 mins...thanks be to GOD!

I am tired of sitting at this desk...it kills my back.

Good Day C4C. This is the funniest thing ever posted on VJ. Me married? OK, I'm laughing so hard now that I can barely type. The last time Len set me up on a date, she was charged with crimes against humanity. It's not all bad news though, the poor girl that accompanied me for the evening has nearly finished therapy and is almost well enough to go home.
