It was painful, but he doesn't need it anymore. It just got so bad and he didn't go to the doctor, he's kind of stubborn . He didn't know it was renal failure. Now that he's on meds he's all back on track & no more dialysis.

I know this may sound out there, but have you tired any TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) like Acupuncture, Tui Na, Qi gong, Herbs?

Of course if you are following western treatments you should always consult your primary health care physician to see how they feel and any contraindications that may apply to your situation.

I know it sounds hippieish but if nothing else is working and you can afford it it may or may not be an avenue you may want to explore. Regardless it is always nice to have some options.

I hope you are able to overcome this with your current treatments but I just figured I'd throw that other stuff out there just in case you haven't considered it.

it is amazing that he still has a job there, nagi. i hope that he gets his time off soon. why didn't he get insurance with his job here? i am pretty sure the health insurance i work for is doing away with the pre-existing clause.

I am now homw from my appointment and have to go Monday for a kidney fucktion test and was told I may have to have the left kidney removed. 0i !

He works for a petrolium company and is quite skilled so I am thinking he is valued employee. When he returns back to the US, I will ask you to hook me up with some info. His job here did not offer insurance cos they are tight wads.
