Personally, I think it might be cutting it close Rhiann... but I'm supposedly a pessimist and worry-wart so that might just be it. lol But if it were me I'd want to give it another week or a few more days. I can understand wanting to travel with your fiancé though :)

Yeah, I think I'm cutting it super close too.

My fiance already got a 2 day extension on his vacation, so there's nothing more we can do about that.

I was looking at April and that was the last cluster booking (or so I read) and they got theirs in 3-5 days average.

I'm getting the one day envelope

I just hope they dont take their sweet time in sending them.

Wow.

I think I just lost part of myself when I saw the cost of train tickets.

It's almost 400 dollars for two round trip tickets from Woodstock to Montreal.

I can't afford that...

Oi, that's a lot.

I didn't even look into the cost from Windsor to Montreal (with a stop at Toronto inbetween).

I just saw how long it would take and figured it'd be easier to eat the parking fees and just drive ourselves.

I looked at a car rental, and it's only 100 bucks.

It's just a 7 and a half hour drive.

I wonder if my fiance'd be willing to drive that much to save almost 300 on tickets.

(I kind of let my license expire... lol. I only had a G2 anyway.)

We did the math with my car, and it'll cost us about 150$ on gas, 9hr drive. $60ish for parking at the hotel.

I did have to splurge on a GPS, but I was planning on buying one anyhow for when I moved (otherwise I'd be a very lost Sam in Orlando), and managed to get it on an awesome deal. So I don't really count that in price.

I'd personally try to convince him of the drive... on your own schedule too, and much cheaper.

I think you have to make sure you can take the car out of the province? Some of the car rental agencies here only allow rentals to be driven within Ontario :/

I talked my fiance into driving.

And Enterprise lets you have unlimited Kms in Ontario AND Quebec.

(Which I hope it means you can drive it in QC, I'm sure it does. It lets you take them out to the other provinces)

Score.

So I guess we'll be driving instead of taking the train.

We rented from enterprise and took the car to the interview in Montreal. It never caused us any issues! I think that's a really good idea, $400 for train tickets is ridiculous! I just hope your fiance is a good, confident driver. Driving in Montreal is a challenge...

Hmm.

I havn't booked my hotel yet, but the prices keep dropping.

72 right now for the Hilton and related hotels, about 90 with the booking fees on hotwire.

Maybe I should wait till Monday to see how far they drop. I need something cheap but nice.
