I-131: Question 1 (Part 3) and Part 7

Hi -

I want to apply for AP for my finance after she arrives here so we can go on a honeymoon. But we're not sure of the exact date or where we plan to go...so my two questions are:

1. For Part 3, Question 1: Can I just write any date?

2. For Part 7, what should I write for what circumstances warrant AP?

You can either put "date unknown" or put a date you would like to travel. It really doesn't matter, because when we applied for my daughter's AP, we put the date as Canadian Thanksgiving, and her AP was not approved by that time. She still received her AP very shortly after that.

The reason you want AP can simply be "honeymoon". The reason does not have to be anything other than the fact that you want to visit family, friends or go on a honeymoon.

Just to clarify, you do plan on applying for the AP along with your I-485 after you two are married, correct?
