I want to wear this nice black skirt I have, but I don't have a nice sweater to go with it.

I wonder if my mom has anything.

Think I should wear my New Moon t-shirt since my interview is on the 20th?

Well is lunch too optomistic? Will everyone be finished by then? Should we plan for dinner? I'm renting a car so as long as I can look it up on google maps I'm fine!

Looks current to me! We have to be back by the evening of the 20th because of the conference Roland will be attending in Toronto, so lunch actually sounds better for us.

Yeah we decided to stay 2 nights so we can enjoy our time while we're there instead of being so rushed.

We looked at our budget and figured, with everything it was going to cost, an extra night's stay wasn't all that much to us.

I think we're going to be sticking to ourselves for the most part. Although I'd love to kick back with my VJ friends, I know Ben's really looking forward to our little weekend away (our first, really).

We just don't have the money for another night and more meals out etc... but yeah... a weekend to ourselves will be really nice! :) Especially if we are approved and can celebrate and de-stress and make plans. Though, now that I think about it we also want to try to be back in London for Saturday to be able to hang out with some of his friends that he hasn't seen since May

We didn't want to spend the money either and so we only stayed for one night. We don't regret it. You can always walk around the night before and see what you want to see. We did that and still had time to swim in the hotel pool, go out for dinner and then walk around a bit after the interview in the morning. You'll have more time than you think!

What time did you get into town the night before? We have an 8-9 hr drive so probably won't get there til 5ish in the evening.

We did the same thing as Sapphire. We got into Montreal around 5 or 6 in the afternoon, walked around town for a couple hours, found the embassy, had some dinner, walked the mall and then went to sleep. We got up, went to the interview, went back to the hotel, packed, checked out, and drove back home. Bill had to catch a flight in Toronto the same afternoon. It was busy but I don't regret it either. We were there for a mission, the interview, and it wasn't really going to be a romantic weekend with all of that looming over our heads anyways. We decided to spend 1 night in a nice hotel, have a nice evening and then return to reality. It minimized time off work as well.

I think we got in around 3 p.m., I can't remember exactly. Even if we had got in at 5 or 6 p.m., we still would've had time... we just lazed around the hotel for a bit too.

We went to go see Notre Dame and Old Montreal the night before, had dinner at St. Huberts and then went swimming and went to bed.

The next day we walked up to Schwartz's Deli for some Montreal Smoked Meat and then just sat around waiting for our train for a bit. We were tired...
