OMG St.Huberts!!! There was one in Toronto, but they closed a few years back...

I am sad that the 20th people aren't planning a fun outing... but I'll be too broke, for sure. :( That makes me sadder, I think

I'm up for doing something after!!

Well let's plan something! I want to go see New Moon, but I guess I'll need to eat too (after my stomach comes untied from the nerves lol).

I told Sean we could go for a hot cocoa at Tim Hortons or something (hey I've only been twice!).

But I have my heart set on seeing New Moon in Montreal. Afterall, the movie was filmed in Vancouver, so I've got to see it in Canada!

Why is the police check taking 2 days? They did mine right on the spot. It was called the CPIC or something and it said how it looked at the National Canadian Repository of Criminal Records (or something like that). It was 45$.

Haha, that's why I didn't leave anything up to Ben. Even with his tax transcripts, I ordered them before we even had NOA2 in hand. He kept telling me that he'd do it eventually, don't worry about it, etc... But I sneakily called them up one day while he was at work, and two weeks later he had a surprise in the mail.

It's taking 2 weeks not 2 days! As for why? No clue, I've read different people have waited different amounts of time and paid different amounts.

Well as the USC so far I've done EVERYTHING so leaving a few things to him has been a challenge. ;p

It depends on the place you live I guess. My police clearance was some kind of piece of paper from the Toronto police and took 2 weeks.

Also, he corrected me that Tim Horton's has "hot chocolate" not "hot cocoa." w/e

Heh, yeah... just getting the employment letter was a pain in the butt. Dunno what we would've done if I couldn't have handled the paperwork myself.

And my police check took a week, and cost about thirty bucks, if memory serves at all.

That bothers me too.

My fiance says "Hot Cocoa".

AHHH, I'm leaving for Montreal tomorrow!!

So, out of curiousity....With the I-134, I have letters from both my employers and my bank, my last paystubs from both jobs, my last statement with all the information on my stocks, and my W2s and 1040s for the last two years. I keep seeing mention of "tax transcripts" and "tax receipts".....do I need those? If so, I didn't see it anywhere on the form, and since we're leaving for Montreal tomorrow, I'm kinda panicking. Anyone know?

OMG... tomorrow is the big day! I'm starting to feel a little anxious!!!

Good luck!!
