I can search around for another restaurant. Not that the pasta place looks bad. I'll get back to you on that.

I was looking at the menu and honestly, I don't think there's anything on it that I'd eat.

It's not a very creative menu, too many pairings are repeated... like chicken and mushrooms.

(I went to culinary school :P)

Wow, 20 bucks is pricey for all you can eat sushi.

I usually eat it for 15.

But I loves me some sushi.

Im cool with whatever, just if possible, let the place be inexpensive -- Ive already spent too much for this Montreal trip :(

All the other places I looked at have like 20 dollar entrees unless we go to the very barebone pizza joint or whatever.

Anyway, theres no part in downtown or historic Montreal that is not horrible to drive in -- its like downtown TO, only the roads are smaller (from my experience). So youd have to either walk or take the subway (they have an awesome subway).

I remember this really nice restaurant with an open rooftop in St. Paul square -- I just dont remember the name... but we went there for lunch, so its likely their dinner prices are $$$.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Well, now 20 for sushi doesn't seem so bad if most places entrees are 20 bucks.

$20 for all you can eat sushi in a big city is not bad at all! Try not to compare to small city pricing.

You guys could go to St. Huberts. It's the Quebec version of Swiss Chalet. That's where we went and it was pretty cheap and delicious! It's on Ste. Catherine, not sure of the cross street.

Yeah! Sushi in Toronto is about that price for dinner. I googled the restaurant and I think they have 13 dollar all you can eat menus for lunch though.

Ive only been to Montreal once but I found it generally expensive. However, there are a lot of really nice small cafes that are uber cheap, but I dont know where to find them online :/ And the bakeries! :D Anyway Im excited! I think after the interview, if me and the hunny can still keep our eyes open, we're gonna go to some local bakery and have coissant and coffee. Any of you Nov 13 folks are invited to come with us!

Mm, I'd like to find a small bakery, that'd be nice.

Not sure how long we're sticking around to though.

So is sushi okay? Maybe someone should pm all the 13th people to see if they want to join.

Well let's plan something! I want to go see New Moon, but I guess I'll need to eat too (after my stomach comes untied from the nerves lol).

I told Sean we could go for a hot cocoa at Tim Hortons or something (hey I've only been twice!).

But I have my heart set on seeing New Moon in Montreal. Afterall, the movie was filmed in Vancouver, so I've got to see it in Canada!
