K1's don't need proof of domicile from my understanding. it's only CR1/IR1s that are doing direct consular filing.

Tina

They say it's best to wait 2-3 weeks after you enter to ensure that you are in the system. I applied 2 weeks after arriving and I wasn't in the system yet and it took about 5 business days to get my card, although they said it could take up to 6 weeks to verify me.

Yes, you are correct. No need for proof of domicile.. unless for some reason the fiance resides in Canada with their fiance.. I'm not sure if that is even possible, but I'm guessing it could be.

Yeah, it was fine.

I was just feeling sick to my stomach all morning, so it wasn't very good for me.

The only complaint I really have is the lady who did my xray was a real b**ch.

Did she push you? She pushed me. I wasn't close enough to the device or something and she came up and literally shoved me into it. A little rude dontcha thing?!

Wow, I best have my "ready to deal with SOBs" hat on that day, I guess?

For my fiance's letter, despite the fact that I had him give them a template, they neither put full-time or his approximate annual income - only his hourly wage. Um.. thanks. So it looks like the tax transcripts that were going to be backup are now going to be forefront evidence for our I-134. Maybe we'll get lucky and they won't care at all.

Far as "ongoing employment" - it's a play on words, and I think you'll be fine. If you're over 125% with the first job (whether just barely or not), anything else is just over and above. You should be fine.

I'm sorry to hear you weren't feeling well for the medical, Rhiann. Get better soon!

P3 does mention proof of domicile, but as our fiances live in the US, we don't have to worry about it. I-134 is proof of domicile, really, if they want to get picky about it.

Same here! We should write a complaint or something. Everyone other than her was really nice but wow, she was just unpleasant.

But, really, the prof is in everything else you'll have with you. A letter from an employer would show he has a job in the US. A tax return would show he filed from a US address. Pictures would show you being with him in the US. Know what I mean? For a K-1 there isn't any need to bring additional prof. It really only applies if your fiance/spouse lives outside the US.

It never came up at my K-1 interview, and I've never heard of it coming up at a K-1 interview before.
