You are lucky, babe : ) It's all good, as I'm lookin from over here. I'm thinking wow! Think of all those people not on VJ... they scheduled a LOT of interviews for November.

The stat ashen put in the spreadsheet I think is more helpful than "Days from NOA2 to Interview" ... because in cases like mine where there is a 2 month gap between receiving P3 and sending it back, I'm skewing the numbers higher. 102 days is more accurate for me than 162+.

PS if you need a calculator for the date: http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

Danu added that part re: the P3 :) You're right... I think it's a more accurate reflection on MONTREAL's part... you never know what causes even the slightest delay on someone sending back their P3, and it messes up some perceptions on the length of time it takes for things to process.

Thanks for the calculator!

I'm kind of worried now.

I was looking at the stuff about what needs to be included with the K-1 petition, and I didn't send him an intent to marry letter or anything.

And I didn't get an exact copy of the package (ugh, lawyers) so I have NO clue how that was proved.

I'm just worried that they accidentally approved us without it and that we'll get denied :(

My fiance doesn't even have any clue and he's the one that hired her to do our paperwork!

*sigh*

I wonder if I worry too much.

I wonder if I worry too much.

I think our worries are both excessive, and pretty much par for the course. Maybe we all enable each other :P

I keep panicking that I completely forgot something. Or don't have a copy of something sent in. Or I'm going to be denied because of the full moon waning.

Only thing is J didn't give me the NOA2(or a copy), so I have to get him to dig that up.

I duno Rhiann. I wonder if they look at the P3 at all before they schedule the interview.

I don't remember what I submitted at this point.

I think I'm way overtired and should be sleeping. I can't see straight

in other news:

OMG 14 days til my interview

Not even a week ago, I was figured maaaybe I'd be squeezed in at the begining of Dec and be down just before Christmas. Now the interview is 14 days away. Anticipated POE is Nov 15th. Whoa.

Rhiann -- you should be able to request a copy of your I-129F from your lawyer. She should have made a copy!

Also, bring all your NAO stuff and every piece of letter that NVC sent.

I think letter of intent is no problem, you will see him and he will sign it :P

As for proof of ongoing relationship, you have all of that!

I think you just have to be calm and figure out what you need to have. I think right now the list in P3 is most important.

KnJ: Do you think we'll get our visas that soon? I worry that the same thing will happen as with domegirl (I believe its her), whose visa didnt get delivered until a few weeks later. I want to book my flight to MD early and the fiances making arrangements for a civil wedding before Thanksgiving. Plus all my familys flying down and the future mum-in-law wants to throw a party blahblahblahblahblah :P SIGH I hope that it wont take a week and just a few days.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

I told my fiance tons of times to get an exact copy of what she sent, but he never did.

She photocopied the stuff I photocopied that was meant to be given to her, as it has red pen'd writing and stuff.... so apparently I have everything that's in the package, just I don't know what exactly's in there

I noticed your ticker just last night and it hit me then! Holy Cow - our interview is in 2 weeks!!!

Knowing the estimates for the whole process, Brian and I started the paperwork in March figuring that it would all be done by early next year. The plan was for me to drive down March 2010! I'd have my car paid off and some money saved up in the bank. With it coming so soon, everything is up in the air! Now I'm starting to say February, but my parents are taking it a little hard because it's one month sooner than I was saying. I just want to be with him but I don't want to hurt their feelings. This is crazy.

Ditto.

I go check the mail now.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."
