I shall rub my socks on the carpet and hope you get one too LGG.

Oh wait, that's static, not kinetic.

*ponder*

I shall go roll down the hill outback for you!

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

AW.... thanks, Varba... I am THRILLED for you and Peachy and everyone. I am amazed that they scheduled like 10-11 of your guys? God, I wish they could do that every month -- we would have zero reason to complain...

unfortunately... we won't be interviewing in November -- I called a couple of days ago and they'd completed scheduling for November already for CR1s.

But any extra finger crossing is appreciated.

Good on you, you guys! I am thrilled for all of you.

:)

I am still bouncing off the walls. This is way better than coffee.

This sounds hypocritical on my part bec I was ready to jump off my balcony just yesterday... but you guys waiting will get your dates soon!!!!! I hope so!!! And maybe you guys will get Decemer!!!! Rememer, I was told to expect February just last week.

Anyway I still am going to write to the consulate (WELL maybe now after my interview :P heh heh) Just cause I got my date doesnt mean things are fixed now. I hope everyone who was considering writing will still do so, so the future fiance/fiancees interviewing in Canada wont go through the heartache we went through... or at least be given a MORE realistic time line so we at least have an idea where we will be :P

Finally married... and still married... ;)

NEVER jump off the balcony!!!! I recommend booze! ;)

I kid, I kid... .

I sent my letter off and well, we'll see. It'd be nice if they could do a HUGE batch of CR1s too -- that would be great. LIke so huge that we'd see teh 10 or so numbers here on this site like you guys, the K1s, got. That would really clear up some backlog...

Congrats, darkchild, even in the midst of my own waiting nightmare, I feel great happiness for those finally getting to move on...
