Options for Translation (Turkish)

My wife lived in Turkey for a while and needs a police certificate translated to english from Turkish. We have asked a company to translate and notarize here in UK and they want basically $400 for a 50 word document. Any other options, we are here in London, maybe the Turkish embassy ? Anyone have experience with this.

If you have a friend who is a native turkish speaker, THEY can do it.

They have to provide an attestation paragraph in the translated document. As long as the attestation is there, the London Embassy should accept it.

that's insane, i'm sure you can find a local turkish community site or something that has people willing to translate it for much cheaper as well as notarize it. i'm in the states, but that is how i got my aile cuzdani translated and notarized for 30 dollars....
