seems like charles has really gotten under some people's skin. perfect for being a moderator it is the ability to have thick-skin and not take things to heart. he will step up where needed. it is ok to have fun. the immigration process would cause a high-suicidal rate if we could not laugh.

That makes no sense. If we selected moderators according to your logic, we would have all manner of azzhole members as mods.

Moderators should have the ability to help calm heated threads, remain impartial and effectively communicate. Charles is the antithesis of a moderator. He stirs up trouble, he will obviously favor his lackeys and resorts to jpegs for most of his responses. Just because he spends his entire life posting on VJ, it does not qualify him to be an effective moderator.

I seriously question this decision.

I don't have much of an opinion either way - mainly because I don't have a lot of interaction with Charles! - but I don't think it was necessary to remove julez's initial post on the subject. If that was a personal attack, then its one of the tamest I've ever seen.
