It differs from country to county. It states on the official London Medical guidelines document that, a medical examination is valid for 12 months. They ask me to quote my case number and my interview date, if one is scheduled.

You are not different from N1dom, you are both English men born in the UK, who got the same Queen and Prime Minister.

So, difinetely, you got the same validity period for medical certificate.

There will be no certain reasons for that, for it's a case to case basis.

Your case might be different from my case, so there'e is no particular reasons.

But I have this friend, he got delayed for 4 months in NVC because of the PCC that does not contain expiration date.

Probably, most of the reasons are RFEs being submitted that does not satisfy the NVC.

I scheduled and attended my medical without problem before I got my interview date.

The London Embassy medical FAQs state:

Why I am being asked to schedule the medical examination when the Embassy has not yet scheduled the visa interview? The medical results will be valid for 12 months and it will help to speed up the final processing of your application if we have received them before your the visa interview, however, it is not compulsory.

Dom

Good to go for your advance medical then, If your medical is valid for 12 months.

If I am not absolutely 100% positive , I wouldn't suggest/recommend anything. Sir, I have seen you post some inaccurate information which can be a ground for delay in immigration/NVC processing...Anyways, what does medical have to do with PCC? OP is concerned about medical, if I'm not mistaken..

Peace!

If you got an RFE with some of the requirements during NVC period, defifnitely you will be delayed, I used the PCC as an example because that's what happened to my pal in Riyadh, he got delayed at NVC for 4 months because of PCC that does not contain expiration date. In Saudi Arabia the Medical certificate expires within 3 months, so what do you think would hapen next, if my friend made an advance medical exam?

UK PCC is valid for 6 months. Medical in UK is valid for 12 months.

I applied for PCC in August and received it in September, as par my attorneys instructions

so it will either run out on Feb 2010, if counting 6 months from August

or

march 2010 if counting from when it was issued in September

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.
