I have scheduled in medical for my I130 visa this month. I have not yet received a Interview date. Can I still go for my medical in London? I do however, have my Case number.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Some of our fellow VJ'ers do this way, however it's not advisable for some reasons that you might get delay during the NVC processing, well, we do all hope that it won't happen, but who knows, sometimes they do make mistakes at NVC and it happened to some folks here. Good luck on your medical exam.

I scheduled and attended my medical without problem before I got my interview date.

The London Embassy medical FAQs state:

Why I am being asked to schedule the medical examination when the Embassy has not yet scheduled the visa interview? The medical results will be valid for 12 months and it will help to speed up the final processing of your application if we have received them before your the visa interview, however, it is not compulsory.

There will be no certain reasons for that, for it's a case to case basis.

Your case might be different from my case, so there'e is no particular reasons.

But I have this friend, he got delayed for 4 months in NVC because of the PCC that does not contain expiration date.

Probably, most of the reasons are RFEs being submitted that does not satisfy the NVC.

Apprently UK certificates are roughly valid for 6 months

So, where did N1dom got that info? Anyhow, it's all up to you at the end of this day, you will make your own decision.

If you instinct is conforming with your decisions, go for it.

I shouldn't think that will make a difference. When I booked a medical, they didn't ask which route I was taking, all they asked for was my Case Number. Also, my attorney didn't think there would be a problem

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.
