My Fiancee and I are a little confused on what needs to be submitted for the Packet 3. I read the Packet myself and I still need clarification on this.

What is everything that needs to be sent in?

I think this is the cover letter, but anyways it says:

"Dear Visa Applicant:

When you send the form, DS-230 Part I, to this office, please also submit a copy of your passport's biographic data page, a copy on any US visas in your passport(s), and a photograph (see the requirements attached) for our administrative processing. Also, please fill out your contact below and send it with your DS-230 Part I. Thank you."

So is that all that needs to be sent? Because on another paper they had it said,

"Dear....

We are pleased to inform you that the approved I-129F fiance visa petition filed on your behalf has been received at the US Embassy, Tokyo.

In order to continue processing your case, please provide information the following items. Please ensure that all information is legible, complete, and accureate. If the documens are not in english( talks about translation)....... Further information concerning your application will be sent to you when our processing is complete.

1. Original BC

2. Secondary evidence of your identity

3. Completed DS-230 Part I

4. Copy of your Japanese Visa and alien registration card

5. Previous passports if any.

Please not that all information is subject to confirmation, which may take several months to finish.

(Then it goes on to explain what is considered Secondary evidence of identity)

Original documents will be returned to you at a later date.

IMPORTANT: Please complete and place this letter on your response. Submission of your response without this letter may delay processing of your case."

Sorry for all the reading... If somebody could clarify what exactly needs to be submitted, I'd appreciate it. Also, if anyone has had experience faxing this information, please share your experience with that. good or bad.

Thanks,

Kyle
