Basically, the journalist said that he round up even the legal aliens. A whole bunch, for example 200. And, he later found out only 20 of them are illegals.

In this case, he did the search and seizure incorrectly which would've been the trigger to strip him of the powers that ICE gave him.

Even it those 180 people are innocent, they had to persevere the questioning and treatment that the Sheriff's dept. had placed on them. Those treatments aren't thought as being something that a typical correctional facility would facilitate.

There were interviews this weekend (somewhere, my apologies for not exactly quoting the source, show, host, etc ) with some ICE Regional Director for the area ...

When he was asked what was 'wrong' with the Sherrif's approach to 'the roundup' - he said - (roughly ) - It's not the way we profile illegal aliens for sweeps.

I'm sorry, but I zoned out after that - quickly losing interest...

I don't feel any less free than I ever have. The 20 million illegal aliens (and their cheerleaders) are much more of a problem than the sheriff ever will be. The sheriff was elected by the people. The illegal aliens are a burden imposed on the people.
