My fiance had his interview in Manila Embassy. After the interview he told me how the interview went. Everything went well, he had all the necessary paperwork they ask and he answered all the questions they ask from him. after that, the CO told him to go to this window because they needed additional requirements from the petitioner (me) a letter of acknowledgement that i acknowledge his children and want it notorized. No problem, i have provided a letter of acknowlegement and it was notorized. mailed to him and he brought it to the embassy. later, he received another letter from the embassy with additional requirements asking from the petitioner to write a letter describing the circumtances under which me and my fiancé met, how the relationship was established to include how and when we met, proposal circumstances, future plans, etc..this is what the letter states.."We have reviewed your file and determined you must do the following continue/conclude the processing of your visa application"..i have attached on the I-129F how we met describing our relationship..why do they need another letter from me? do they need a detailed letter? has anyone of you gone this before..? im just wondering why are they asking additional requirements..what are they looking for? he wasnt denied..im just wondering..

on the letter they gave us a year to comply or else it will be terminated.

thanks

thank you for your reply..it didnt sound like he was denied or else they would have told him there. he didnt get any slips, stating if he was denied. they didnt question about his the documents. they asked for the letters that he and i send each other in which we had lots of that they took those. they said they needed additional requirements. but what puzzles me is why they are asking me to write the letter instead. instead of he and i u know what i mean? it just weird.
