Not sure Brother....Was Uni served to you in some other way? Did they scoop the flesh out and serve it on a plate with Wasabi? Restaurants vary...

I've always had it served wrapped in Nori.

I love Century Eggs! They are delicious! If you can get over the black color..............but anyway I think they are awesome..........yeah u can get them in NY

In KC, Yes, many. However, i have never asked for Uni since my tour in Japan (5 years ago). A new mission abounds for the weekend. As an aside, my wife likes sea urchins.....Perhaps I will get bonus points for this tip.
