I concur with Otto und Karin! Don't worry. The biometrics from your mother probably were unreadable/processable. Your dads went through so thats why he wasn't called in again. Although, these days when biometrics are taken, they are able to tell the acceptability % while they are taking them. But its OK. As long as your case is moving forward. Good Luck

I would just add don't worry its normal procedure. It's similar to the situation if you go to get a passport picture taken with an old film camera, when they actually develop it they found its unusable so you have to go get the picture taken again. There is nothing to worry may be ask your mom not to cut any vegetables using knife and her fingers or thumbs till the biometric date as an extra precaution. Good luck !!!
