Electronic Processing

I sent one email with individual pdf files, all three tax years in one pdf, letter of employment 1 pdf, bank statement 1 pdf, etc. I did that for the ds230 aswell all individual pdf files just because I thought if something was incorrect or needed to be changed I could do it without having to scan everything again.Although i did come close to it being too big of an email

We sent each package as one PDF, so one PDF for the I-864 plus all its other doucments, and one PDF for the DS-230 plus all its other documents. It made it nice and easy because each email only needed one PDF attached.

Question for when you are emailing your DS-230. I don't seem to have enough computer knowledge to be able to figure out how to get my files (documents) small enough to fit into 1 email through yahoo. Can I send in 2 emails with all of my information ?

I am not exactly sure but I did forget to add a file to my ds230 and sent it moments later with a note in the subject that i had accidently forgot to add the document. I never received a rfe for it, however i cannot answer that question for you. If it is something you cannot figure out i would call them and just clarify it with them

Hey guys! Quick question: When/where do you get your alien number (filling out I-864)? I thought it would be on the NOA2 but it wasn't on there.

you dont get it till you are approved etc. Just leave blank or put N/a

Hey everyone,

I recently read through all 27 pages. There were a ton of personal stories of using electronic processing, but they pretty much stopped in May.

Has anyone recently gone through electronic processing? Has it improved at all? Slowed down?

Just want to get a better picture of how this electronic processing has progressed since May.

We used it in June/July - it worked very well for us, I just attached everything via email as a PDF file. Actually I took all my paperwork to Staples and they made one file for me and one for my son. No issues with emailing them.

Then I brought a copy and the originals with me to the interview. Everything went smoothly.

We also used it in June/July. It was really easy for us - if we weren't waiting on last minute documents or hadn't have received an RFE it would have taken much less than the six weeks it took. When we sent in all the documents the first time, we had an RFE after a week (if we had been more diligent and checked the automated service more often we would have caught it sooner than we did). When we sent in the missing info after, we had our case complete about a week later. I definitely recommend it, it wasn't a painful process for us at all.

This morning I emailed off my DS-230 only to get a failure notice. Which email address do I send it to ? The

NVCMontreal@state.gov. or the NVCinquiry or the NVCelectronic one ? Then when my husband sends in his paperwork we will send it to the same one ?

Is the Authorization for Release of Federal Tax Data form still needed for filing the I-864 ? I have also read to send in the most recent tax return for the I-864 and send the previous 2 years if you feel it may help your case. Or is it best just to send in all 3 years ? Along with letter from employer and recent pay stubs.
