Joint documentation: Costco

Hi guys!

The officer told us to get some more joint documentation together and send it in. He suggested a Costco membership.

So today, my wife and I went to Costco and got the gold membership and we each got a membership card. Now, I'm trying to figure out why the officer suggested doing this...

- we got a receipt with my name on it (no address).

- we each have a plastic card with our membership number (mines different from hers), our names and picture on the back (no address).

I don't see how this would proof anything since our address isn't on there and neither of our cards show any information that would be related to the other cardholder!?

Should we just make a copy of the receipt and the back of our cards and use those?

Any help is appreciated!

Yes, just make a copy. Front and the back.

What other proofs do you have?Only a COSTCO membership might not be enough.

we have more proof but since he told us that we have to find a new joint sponsor at our interview he said to get some more joint documentation like a costco account and a credit card. we got both of those now. our california id's. our social security cards issued to our address. our bank account AND credit card and bank statements. paystubs. driving permits from the dmv. netflix membership. i think thats all. and 2 letters confirming that we live in the family home with my wifes parents since we do not have a lease.

possibly. a friend of mine is waiting to receive all her transcripts from the IRS and shes confident shes made enough money. so fingers-crossed

How about asking costo to print you some kind of statement showing the primary and the joint household membership? I am sure they can somewhat print you something like that.
