I just noticed that we missed out biometrics appointment that was scheduled 2 days ago. I don't know how this happened, but... There is a block for "request a new appointment' on the letter and instructions to copy the letter then return the original to to request a new appointment. I did that today and I'm putting it in the mail. Any idea what happens now? Anyone KNOW what happens now. Sorry, I just don't need the "lectures based on assumptions". I'm a little uptight...

Yep, go tomorrow and do a walkin...its surprising as important as this process is you would let it slip.

You aren't the first to FU being late for biometrics and no doubt won't be the last. Get your butte in ASAP. Some ASC offices are closed Mondays and open Saturdays. I know the Honolulu office is.

Yes, try a walk in appointment. Go early and explain that you missed the appointment on Friday. It shouldn't be a problem but even if they say no, they don't do walk-ins, take the appointment letter with you with the request for a new appointment and you can hand deliver it to the ASC/USCIS and avoid the time in the mail. I had to request a new biometrics appointment because we would be on holidays and returning the day after the appointment. Since we were leaving two days after I got the notice, I drove to the ASC office and hand delivered it with the request for a new appointment (didn't know I could have requested a walk in when I did that). I was rescheduled about a month later. You should be fine.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
