I came to the U.S. in Feb. 2007. I stayed a week and went back to Canada. Decided to come back a week later.

Here is the issue. I FOUND MY BUS TICKET... For the first trip. I don't have the second trip.

Now, I Am Not Asking If I Should Lie. I don't want to know if I should put the date of the first entry on my application.

But I would like to know if I can use that ticket to kinda prove that I got inspected once. I didn't have an I-94, no passport, just two pieces of ID. So, can I use that ticket in any way?

Is this a real question? If the instructions say "when was your last entry" - state that honestly... unless you want to misrepresent.

No, I am just asking if that first ticket can be used as a proof of good faith. As in "I came here twice, I lost the ticket showing my last entry, but I have the one from the first entry".

Good faith, you know.

Regardless of your good faith gesture - putting the wrong date when asked when your last entry was - is misrepresentation.

Ugh, I never said I put in the wrong date. If you were to look at my paperwork, it shows the right date. I never said anything about lying, or wanting to, or trying to. I was just very happy to have found A ticket, now that I realize its not the right one it kinda bumbs me out.

If I really wanted to lie, I could call greyhound and have them send me a confirmation letter daying you can use a ticket on another date than the one showed, because I once used a ticket set for day X, and I used it on day Y.

But that is not what I'm saying. No need to assume that everything I do has malicious intent... 99% of it is. Not 100.

I would call the bus company and try to find out if they keep the trips' records with the passengers names! You never know...

That's what I'll be doing. I remeber paying cash, so I don't think they will, but it's worth a try.

k I see what you are saying - I read it wrong. It still doesn't make a lick of sense to provide documentation of some random previous inspection. I keep reverting back to your statement that you like the be prepared. You seem to have an uphill battle gathering all this missing information that could help your case.

Totally, not arguing with that. On the other hand, when I came here, I didn't expect I'd be overstaying and filing for AoS... So I didn't really pay attention. It was one of those infamous "whim".

The thing is that, it's the only thing I have. I came back a week after. I don't even know the correct date to be honest.

That's what I was trying to get to. Normally the bus tickets have the passenger's name on them. Hopefully they will be able to find you and this way you will have your US last arrival date as well.
