I'm a UKC.. I need to know about the size of these passport photos thats required for the G-325A form? The required size they are asking for isn't our standard size in the UK.. Can someone tell me if the UK photobooth size is acceptable for this G-325A form?

Cheers

Click on this link for photo specifications. The standard UK size is not acceptable. There are some links on the right hand side of this page with locations that can do US-sized photos.

You might also look into this website. If you take your own picture against a white background, this can correctly resize it for free - then just print on photo paper! I've never tried it, but some people in the UK forum recommended it.

Hi,

I rang round photographers who do wedding photos and such. I found one real nearby, Laurencekirk, (small town so it can't be that rare) who has a hand held polaroid camera that goes to different passport settings. He just selected the US setting. It cost £20 for three of us to have 6 photos each. I took along the photo requirement page from the website that says background etc. Placement of head. Easy peasy. Absolutely no chance of a photobooth for US photos near me. For the emdical I took along US photos, but also UK ones. The UK ones did the job. Save the US ones for another day.

I think i'm going to cry.

I just sent in an appeal with a $110 fee to USCIS with a UK size passport photo.

I didnt think size mattered. :(

I know my timeline sucks, but my husbands P.O.E was on January 7th, 2013!

Greencard in hand! After almost 4 years, WE DID IT!

USCIS is not all that picky with the passport photo size, at least for the photos submitted with the I-129F. The I-129F instructions only specify "passport-style" photos with a white background and a face size of about 1 inch. My fiancee's photos for the I-129F were 3.5cm x 4.5cm (the standard passport/visa size for many non-US countries) and we were approved.

As always, your mileage may vary, and I'm not recommending sending other than standard US passport size, i.e. 5cm x 5cm (2" x 2"), but it doesn't seem to be a major issue for the I-129F.

(procedural question, not a status report - moving to K-1 Process and Procedures)

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
