Salam guys ,,

i called the money order comp. and the computer said that money cashed on October 26, 2009 so am expecting the NOA1 soon i guess

and i wana to ask is the NOA1 generated once the money cashed or it takes some days too?

and am planning to call the senator oncet i get the reciept # is that will be helpful or just waisting time?

I am still waiting my NOA1 also.

My check came thru my bank on the 22nd. And I know my papers reached Chicago on the 14th.

Getting a little worried! Especially since I am still in Jordan and don't want to make that lengthy international call to USCIS!

As for contacting your senator, from things I have read on here, I don't think it does any good until you are within the normal processing time. If it is taking an average of 6 months for the CR1, my understanding is we just have to wait the 6 months before the congressmen or women can step in.

But if you do it and it helps, let me know!

I got the NOA1. It is dated Oct 21.

When I talked to my mom in the US, it had been there a few days, but I had been asking her for something from Vermont. I expected it to process there, based on where I live.

But I believe a prayer was answered and it is in California! Cali is much faster!

So, no more questions about CR1 or K3. It is definitely CR1!

I hope things keep moving so quickly in Cali!

Sent our papers in october 6th and got our NOA 1 hardcopy on the 20th, I was freaking out cause I thought it was taking to long but apparently I was worrying about nothing.

Hope that all of us octoberfilers will have a smooth journey!
