If I did not have that touch a couple of weeks ago, I would think they lost the 10/21 box. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to see anyone reunited with their loved ones, but this whole process makes no sense to me. It should be first in, first out (unless there is a reason for further evaluation). And if they need more information from us, send that RFE and tell us so we can move on! It is depressing to see the ones with dates after ours already approved.

Mohsin and I have been talking about me moving here (Jordan). It seems easier in so many ways (except I speak no Arabic). We have considered both a permanent move or a temporary one until the interview. The only problem would be with filing all of the financial docs and proving I could support us once we moved back. Too much to think about during what should be an enjoyable time with my husband! AHHH!

I could do that too if I wanted too, but honestly the US is my country and I love it here. My work, my dreams and everything

I'm doing is here in the US and I just need her to be with me and share the special moments.

I know it is tough but we have no choice except to wait.

Good Luck,

Sam :clock:

Sam, I honestly think you are dealing much better than I am with the stress of all this. Maybe I feel more anxious because of all we have been through already with the terrible experience with the K1. I don't think I will ever feel as desperate as I did when he called me after that interview and told me they were sending everything back to USCIS because she didn't think we were "real".

But, I guess we did what we had to do and we are married now... it's all we wanted any way. I lived here for 6 weeks. And I am here again for 3 weeks. And if we don't have an interview before then, I will be back again in 2-3 months. All we can do now is hope and pray the CO will look at us in the interview and see that we truly love each other and issue the visa this time.

I really don't want to leave the US either. I have 2 children there and a granddaughter due in June. So it is not a good time to leave. But, if I have to do it, I will to be with the man I love.

I just recieved a text message saying my case has been updated on the USCIS website. I logged in and

it says I'm in the TESTING & INTERVIEW stage now (which is before decision). It states that they transferred my case to Chicago to conduct an interview. I am waiting for the letter now.

I think they need to establish this is legit which is not a problem with me. I mean I love this girl and this is all I wanted too.

Just wanted to update you,

Good Luck :)

Until recently, I only followed the K1 forums. So, does this mean that YOU have to go in for an interview here in the US before this even leaves the USCIS stage? Guess I am a little lost with all this processing so please forgive me if I sound stupid.

Happy that one of us from 10/21 finally got some sort of news though. I was beginning to think we were all lost somewhere. Maybe the rest of us will hear something in a day or 2 now. Although if this is an interview for you here, I hope it does not slow things down for you very long. This whole thing takes too long if things go normally!

Yea, the interview will take place in Chicago and it is for me (the petitioner). This interview is before the decision, so it is before it leaves USCIS. I heard they do this for some countries who have shown many fraudalent marriages in the past. I guess Jordan may be one of those countries.

I am still waiting for the paper with my interview time and date. After the interview, they are supposed to send in the NOA2, so it kind of extended the process

a little.

Good Luck To You :)

at09.... I have been watching you, too.

Have you seen any movement at all... a touch or anything?

I contacted my congressman back in January, but as of the day I left for Jordan (Feb 17), his local office had not heard anything. It had been about a month since they sent the inquiry letter.

I feel so lost with all this. My husband thinks maybe it has all slowed because they have phased out the K3. Maybe he is right. Maybe they had to do some shifting of case loads or something. It is 8am in Jordan now. I promised to try to stop thinking so much about this while I am here, but it is really hard not to. I just want this to be over and on to NVC so we can move on with this. As I am sure you remember, from the dates when we started, I thought we would all be approved by the end of January!

So, it's back to the congressman's office when I get back to the states if we still aren't through USCIS in a couple weeks!

You are all in my prayers. Remember us too!

Checking in, too, from Jordan.

I decided to make an infopass appointment. The first day off I have after I get back is March 16, so I will be there with everything I sent in with my I130 and my NOA1! I am not even trying to call USCIS, we all know what they will say!

Sam,

Keep us posted! Can't believe they are pulling you in for an interview at this point of the process! Good luck!

Wow, Sam! I can't believe you are still in limbo.

Can you make an infopass appointment or anything? Call your Congressman?

I was going to infopass tomorrow if ours had not come in.

at09... how about you? Anything yet?
