Oct CR1 Filers

i tried to look for topic gathering CR1 filers in Oct but i didnt see any

so if there any topic about that will be glad to know

and by the way i sent my packet in thrus 14 Oct by USPS and every time i put the track # in USPS website it says no

recored for this item so is it normal or something bad happened ?

This is normal with the USPS. Give it a few more days and check again. Just so that you will know, I too sent my packet in the same way and I found out my packet arrived with USCIS through their letter. It took the USPS a few more days to update their website to show that my package has been received. Bottom line, just be patient and give it a few more days. Your package will make it there, if it is not there already. Insha'allah you will hear something soon.

I sent my I130 from Jordan via DHL on Oct 12. It arrived in Chicago on Oct 14. My mom is checking my mail, but no NOA1 yet.

We married Oct 6, after we attempted a K1 and had a bad interview in Sept that resulted in the K1 being returned to USCIS for further review. We withdrew the K1 and had our October wedding any way... only in a different location.

We still have not decided between the CR1 and the K3, so any advice is appreciated. I have been reading a lot tonight and I am thinking now that CR1 may be the best route. We just want the fastest way... what it costs really isn't the issue. But if it only comes down to a difference of about a month, this may be best.

CR1 is your best bet. You don't want to have to deal with USCIS more than you really need to.

If you don't receive your NOA1 or see your check being cashed after 10 days of sending the package, CALL USCIS immediately. We found out the hard way that they had WRONGLY cancelled our petition for incorrect filing. A month's worth of waiting just wasted despite no fault of our own.

ally and moh i think sachinky said CR1 is the Best and dont have to deal with uscis anymore

i set my packet by USPS certified Mail and it shows now that its delivered in CHICAGO, IL 60680

and i used money order and when i call it says not cashed yet

so how can i know that they accept the packet or if the packet transfered to CSC or VSC ?

it will show by USPS tracking Number or it will just stop in that and i have to wait them to send the NOA1?

A cashed check will indicate that they have received your petition. On behalf of the check will be the receipt number. Or wait for the NOA1 hardcopy. It'll spell out everything for you.

but theres no way to know my case # before they send the NOA1

coz i heared in cheque when it cashed the case # will be written on the back of the reciept

Don't worry Engo, your shouldn't have to wait much longer for you NOA-1. I sent my I-130 on October 8th. It was received on the 9th, and my NOA was issued on the 16th. My hard copy arrived on the 19th. You filled yours just a few days after me, so it shouldn't be too long until you get your NOA.

You should get your NOA1 very soon. This is a long process and we all have to learn to wait. Please let us know when it comes. I filled in September but my last touch was October 1st. It will be 1 month in a few days.

I sent in a check. On the back was a case number but when I got the NOA1 there was a different number. The NOA1 had the correct case number. My petition is with CSC. I hope you will come and join me and Sachinky at the thread about being depressed. It is a good thread to get your feelings out about this process and missing your loved one.

Just wanted to check in as a october filer aswell.

Sent our papers in october 6th and got our NOA 1 hardcopy on the 20th, I was freaking out cause I thought it was taking to long but apparently I was worrying about nothing.

Hope that all of us octoberfilers will have a smooth journey!

Hey everyone! I am still in Jordan with my husband but wanted to say that my online bank statement shows my check has cleared the bank! No call yet from my mom to say the NOA1 has arrived, but it is only 9am in West Virginia and my mail usually doesn't come until 12 or 1pm, so she could still call today! I am still debating if I am going to file for the I129F. We really just want the fastest route, but after our bad K1 experience, a lot of people have said the CR1 may be best for us. We are really confused!

and as advice which i took from several ppl here and outside

CR1 now fast including its the best choice

so take yr time in thinking and look to the future and whats best for you both
