Hello. I thought it would be a good idea to start a discussion for people that have November Interviews so that we can ask each other questions and help each other get ready for the interviews we have in Novemeber. My husband's interview will be in Cairo, Egypt on the second week of November. I was just able to find his package and track it on its way to Egypt. If anyone needs any help with tracking packages or anything let me know. YAY for everyone with upcoming interviews and wishing lots of luck to anyone hoping to get an interview in the near future!!!

Good luck to you both Nancy.

I would love to hear how his interview went, so that I can share it with my hubby. I feel that most likely he too will be going to interview in Cairo. Do you know if any people get sent to Alexandria or is it always Cairo?

Tell me how does one, track their package? Do you mean from when it leaves NVC to the embassy/consulate?

"Insha'allah" all goes well for your husband.

Hi Lizz. Thanks for the well wishes. All interviews for Egypt are in Cairo. Unfortunately my husband lives in Alex so he will have to travel to Cairo early that morning for the interview. I will definitely send you a message and let you know how his interview went. I am praying that goes well ISA. Yes the tracking is when the package left from the NVC and is on the way to the Embassy in Cairo. I actually just found out that the package has made it to Cairo so im very excited because I was so worried that the package wouldnt make it there in time for his interview. So how far along in the immigration process are you? If you ever have any questions dont hesitate to contact me. Hope to hear from you again soon!!!

To track packages you go to the DHL website and track by reference and enter (exactly like this with all the spaces) EXP 12 OCT 2009A You can use whatever day you want... I suggest that you contact NVC to see what day they sent your package to NVC so you know what date to put in...

Hey... Just found out our request to get an earlier interview was approved... We had one Nov 10, they moved it one week earlier, Nov 4th YAY!!!!

but what they ask you in the interview? is it possible that they don't give the visa to you? why?

Be wure to read the embassy experiences (it is a tab at the top) to get an idea of what they ask and the stuff you need to prove... Mainly you have to prove that you have a bonified marriage or ongoing relationship for K-1 and that you have the financial resources to support yourselves in the US
