Sorry no timeline its messed up thanks to bits of

paper, never seems to be a human with any

power. For NC k3 filers in NC a new full service

center has opened egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?...&OfficeLocator.statecode=NC

We have gone two years of nothing, filed aos three months ago. In that

time Ead, SSN and our first green card (inteview in 4 days) all within 3 months.

Ead in two weeks, SSN in less than that. Not sure how many here are from

NC but we are all on the fast tract.

Have a question. Wifes visa has expired, put in for a extension and was granted.

As you know the extension is only a piece of paper hers will expire next month.

Today we went to ECPI to find out what it takes for my wife to enroll in a medical

course. What we dont know is this. She needs to go back home for a few days to

take care of some business. We have a limited amount of time for her to enroll

in this course.

Given a visa almost expired, on paper not in her passport do we need to wait

for her green card to go back to china and come back with no problem?

Shes not but I am very worried about this. I know is counfuseing. Sorry about that.

If approved at interview, ask for the I-551 stamp for her passport. She can then travel anytime she wishes. If the interview is unsuccessful, she should not travel until things are sorted out. Be prepared to explain the reason for her travel and potentially to be asked to come back with confirmed travel documents to get the stamp.

Thanks Pushbrk. Interview was touch and go about relationship even though married 3 years and wife has been here all of them he was from China, wanted to challange it. I shut up and let her take control. Put short he was expeting a woman with no english, what he got was her telling him how wrong his thinking was in english better than his. Automatic approval!! Just need to redo medical and give to them.

Not sure what others have found when approved for aos with additional evidence needed like ours. He told us the medical would be sent by the civil surgeon, and no other contact needed to be made by us. Not true, they do not mail uscis. We didnt question what he said. Called uscis since we cannot just walk in our local office without an appointment as to how to give them this. Not sure if this will help anyone else with evidence they want for your aos interview but uscis says (even though he told us wrong), the only way is to make a infopass appointment.

Might not find on there an appointment in thier check box for infopass anywhere near your case. Just pick whats closest to yours, get in the door and fix it. Once your in you take it from there. Maybe some help to others, we hope so.

Thanks for the I-551 advise Push, will use it next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
