My wife arrived here this past week, on the 14th. I'm wondering how long, roughly, until her green card arrives.

So for those who have entered on a CR1 visa:

How long after POE did it take for your green card to arrive?

Social Security #/card?

I got mine in less than 3 weeks from arrival date. SS# 9 days. Good luck

04/24/2009: Received DS 3032 / I-864 by email

04/25/2009: Paid AOS/I-864 online

04/25/2009: Emailed DS 3032

04/28/2009: Received Payment Receipt for AOS/I-864

04/29/2009: Mailed barcoded DS3032/AOS/I-864

04/30/2009: NVC received I-864

05/01/2009: DS3032 accepted as per AVR

Husband arrived Sept 29th and STILL don't have green card OR Social Security card!!! I called SSA on the 14th and they told me no card has been ordered and said to call USCIS which I did. Their STUPID auto information still didn't have us approved for NOA2!! I talked with a woman and she wouldn't give me any information told me we had to wait 30 days and if we hadn't gotten it by then, then they would investigate.

At least with a IR1/CR1 visa you don't have to have the green card and SSN to work, husband has a few very good leads and should be working soon.

Yes we got the I551 stamp.

Still waiting on the green card and ssn - husband has now been in US for 26 days. We did get the welcome letter yesterday though so at least we are making progress.
