Okay all us VJr's. I think it is time to raise some voices in our battle to get Montreal moving.

Yesterday, I wrote and mailed (snail mail) a letter to McClenny, and sent copies with a cover letter to President Obama, both my senators, my congressman, the state department, and homeland security.

I also sent the same letter, as an attachment, to every email address available for those same locations.

My letter was not accusatory nor venting. I stated facts and used the quote from President Obama, posted on the whitehouse.gov home page concerning immigration.

I also formally requested help from the senators and the congressman.

If we continue to sit and vent only to each other, we will get nowhere.

Let us make some noise. Properly. Get on the computer. Write a letter. Go over it with your significant other. Send it. Not just email, but snail mail too. Let's get out there and be heard. It might not make a difference in our cases but could help those coming up behind us.

I plan on following up with a new letter as soon as I get any response from any one of these places. We should not let this drop.

I AM TIRED OF BEING HELD HOSTAGE BY THE SYSTEM. Are you?

Just to let you know, I sent my letter to Lee McClenny as well. I know I'm a CR1 and I suppose our timelines are different but my husband and I finished at NVC with no issues or RFEs a little into the second week of August. We are still waiting for our interview. We hit the 10 week mark this week.

I sent my letter -- I had some help from the good people here -- don't know if you all saw that thread...

Good luck to all of us, this whole waiting, life in limbo thing is wearing on me HUGE.

I wish you all the best...
